Since the production plant is situated in an area of great natural beauty in central Switzerland strict pollution control has always been enforced. However, on its own initiative, Celfa has taken steps to ensure even tighter control on solvent output and with a CHF 1.8 million investment, has installed the latest in high-tech solvent burning equipment. As a result, pollution levels in the valley are now much lower than average, our contribution to the local environment and a safeguard for the future. Water based coatings are another signification step in this direction.
